First things first: about 3 weeks of summer vacation in Germany meant a little break from doing and posting stationery and pen reviews. Vacation is now over, and everyday pen-life is back. Sure enough, such a long break asks for getting up to speed again with a bang – so here it is.
We jump-start the second half of the review-year with an all-time classic, with Pelikans flagship pen: the Pelikan Souverän M1000. The M1000 is a grail pen for many fountain pen enthusiasts and a pen that I wanted to review for a very long time.
It is no secret that I am pretty fond of Pelikan pens, and I have reviewed many of them over the years (e.g. the M200, M400, M800, and so on). The M1000 is here and now being added to this list, leaving behind the M600 as the only size in the Souverän-family that I have not yet reviewed. It’s patiently sitting here beside me and waiting, though.
Well, so how about the hype around the M1000? Find out in the video review below! The video is, as always, preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it.

Great review of an iconic pen, not one I will ever own, mind, but cool that it can be admired in your video.
Thank you! Not sure if I will ever own one myself, too. Awesome pen, but just a tad too large for me personally.
