I have already reviewed the Waterman Expert and the Waterman Carène some time ago. With each Waterman reviewed, I liked the pens (and brand) more and more. To be honest, it was mostly love at second sight and I had to…
There isn’t much that has not already been said about the Lamy 2000. A Bauhaus design icon that is quasi unchanged since its release in 1966, this is up to date one of the most popular fountain pens of all…
In the past years, Pelikan has always released a special edition Edelstein ink-color in the beginning of a calendar year as well as a color-matching M200/205 fountain pen at the end of that calendar year. Last years special edition ink and pen…

The Super5 pens are a very interesting lot that not many people talk about. I hope to see this change, because they are actually affordable, sturdy and reliable writing machines – and they come in a number of interesting nib…
Laban is a pen brand that I until recently was quite unaware of. They do however, have a couple of really interesting offers – often with very opulent models in the luxury range of things – and seemed very solidly…
The Pilot Custom 74 is one of the most well-known fountain pens from Pilots fine writing-range and chances are good you will hear an enthusiast speaking about the pen as being among his faves. Sure thing, this is reason enough…
It has been a while that I had reviewed the all-time classic Pelikan M200 piston filler in classic black. That same pen is also available as a cartridge filling P200 – the “P” stands for “Patrone”, which is the German word…
