Video-Review: Pentel Orenz (Mechanical Pencil)

It is always good to own a decent mechanical pencil. Our two. Or three 🙂 . While the likes of the Pentel Kerry or Tombow Havanna (review in German) definitely are super nice, there are also other great pencils out there that sort of do not break the bank – but still are sort of special. The Pentel Orenz is such a pencil. With well under 10 € it is pretty affordable, however it sports a new technology that Pentel calls the “Super Sliding Sleeve” (yes, that’s about right 🙂 ), which is essentially a tiny metal tube that guides the lead and retracts as you write in order to prevent lead-breaking.

Sounds good? Then feel welcome to check out the video-review below – as always preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!
