The main writing implements that I personally use are what I call ‘the king and queen of writing’: fountain pens (ink) and (mechanical) pencils (graphite). There is little else I use – if you don’t count highlighters and the occasional markers, that is.
And while I review and write about all kinds of stationery products on the pages here, you’ll likely find a focus skewed towards the above. This simply has to do with the fact that personal interest does drive selection (not evaluation!) of products, and time for reviewing and writing about stuff is somewhat limited.
Having that said, do expect quite a few reviews in the pencil category in the nearer future. There is a few very interesting items lined up in the review pipe.
For now, let’s kick it off with an interesting Kaweco product – the Kaweco Special mechanical pencil.
If you are interested in the fountain pen version, I have reviewed that one as well as the pocket pen version Kaweco Special S.
Before we hop into the review, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Kaweco for supporting this video review. You can also buy the pencil at their webshop (no affiliate-link, just a friendly pointer).
Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!
