Video-Review: TWSBI GO

The TWSBI GO is yet another TWSBI model to be reviewed on those pages here. It is an entry-level fountain pen – sort of in the league of a Lamy Safari – that stands out through some unique design features. Made from transparent resin, the pen offers a clear view of its inner workings, including the distinctive spring-loaded plunger filling mechanism. This system simplifies the ink-filling process – users can fill the pen with a single press and release action.

The pen’s grip section tapers towards the nib, featuring three flattened edges that provide a good hold. While the cap lacks a traditional clip, it includes a small lanyard loop that serves as a roll-stop, preventing the pen (sort of) from rolling off surfaces.

Available with stainless steel nibs in sizes ranging from extra-fine to 1.1mm stub, the TWSBI GO caters to various writing preferences. Its affordability, combined with the high ink capacity and innovative filling system, makes it an interesting choice for both newcomers and seasoned fountain pen enthusiasts seeking a reliable everyday writer.
