Video Review: Pelikan M205 Demonstrator (Special Edition 2018)

Having their 180 year-jubilee in 2018, Pelikan seems to be somewhat on a spree when it comes to releasing special edition pens in this year. I, for one, almost can’t count them anymore at the time of writing this post here in end October, 2018.

The M205 Demonstrator that I review below is one of these special edition pens. I am glad that Pelikan has released this pen. Demonstrator pens generally have quite a few fans out there in the pen community. There are also many Pelikan fans out there, and Pelikan does not have that many demonstrator pens in their more recent release history

There was the M200 Demonstrator (gold trim) in 2012 and a M200 Demonstrator in 2005 (of which this one presented here is a slightly different re-release), as well as the M805 Demonstrator in 2015. All of these are quite rare and sought after nowadays. Since the M205 that we have a look at right here also is a special edition, it may make sense to pull the trigger on that one rather quickly. Not being part of the standard assortment, it will, in just a few months, most likely be as scarce as its predecessors are now.

Before we hop into the review, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the fine people at Papierundstift.de for providing me with the pen so that I could do this review.

But now, check out the video-review below, which is as always preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!
