It is probably no secret that I quite like Lamy pens. I have already reviewed the imperial blue Studio (a review of the brushed steel one is in the making) and not too long ago I have also reviewed an all-time-classic – the Al-Star. Once Lamy had announced the Lx, which essentially is an upgraded version of the Al-Star, it seemed only natural to me that I had to get my hands on one of these in order to shoot a review.
