The Lamy Imporium is one of Lamy’s top-line pens that you don’t see around all too often. I had it on my radar for review for quite some time now, but it always slipped my mind.

But then, in the course of Ott Hutt releasing the Design 08 I thought to myself: there was this Lamy Imporium that also has fluting running both vertically and horizontally, and you had wanted to take a look at this one since a long time.

So I am very glad I have now finally gotten around to yet another step towards reviewing the Lamy portfolio of fountain pens. While I am not aiming at exhaustively reviewing everything that Lamy has to offer, some of my longer time followers know that my very small personal collection does focus entirely on German fountain pens. And while you of course still will see all kinds of other makes being reviewing here, there might be an ever so slight focus on German made pens in the nearer future. At the very least, there is quite a queue of Lamy products lining up for review right here.
