Very likely, the Kaweco Sport is the most iconic pen model that Kaweco has in its lineup. And while the Sport is a very useful pocket pen, my personal favourite Kaweco model is the DIA2 with its fantastic 1920’s design.
I guess that few people are aware of the fact that the DIA2 also is available as a multifunctional pen – bearing the pretty cool name “Kawecomat”. The Kawecomat may be an interesting complement to the fountain pen; it allows you to carry with you a 0.7mm mechanical pencil, as well as a ballpoint pen in two colors – ideally you would want to use one color for writing and one color for marking/annotating.
The D1-refills that the ballpoint uses, then, add additionally flexibility, as these are available in a huge variety, even gel- or fineliner-refills.
But now, for all the goods and what’s left to be desired regarding the Kawecomat, check out the video-review below, which is as always preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!
