Video-Review: Ateliers Phileas “Yokohama” (A5 Leather Notebook Cover)

There is a new star rising on the stationery horizon!

And if the likes of Superior Labour, The Traveler’s Company, Midori MD, or Y-Studio are floating your boat, you definitely might want to check out the Ateliers Phileas, as they are currently unfolding their portfolio.

Ateliers Phileas is a collective of eccentric international and multicultural designers and craftsmen.

We love traditional craftsmanship, the finest materials and vintage luggage and accessories from the golden age of travel.

Our creations are not only tools, designed to be useful in your everyday life, but also objects of beauty crafted with care from exceptional materials, which you will love using and destined to become heirlooms.

While the collective has just released their second product, a leather ring organiser called “Tokaido“, I am stoked to have been given the chance to try their very first product for you, their launch-item, the “Yokohama” notebook cover, made from Japanese Tochigi leather.

Before we hop into the review, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Ateliers Phileas for supporting the review of this notebook cover. You can also buy the Yokohama notebook covers in their webshop (no affiliate – just a friendly pointer).

The video is, as always, preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!
