Video-Review: Sailor ProGear Gold (Regular)

There are a couple of grail pens out there that, as a fountain pen enthusiast (or blogger, for that matter), one just must have tried (or reviewed, for that matter). The Sailor ProGear most definitely is one of these.

Sailor pens are said to be top notch writing instruments, of which the Pro Gear definitely is evidence for. This pen is Japanese writing instrument engineering to the perfection – an awesome pen, not all too inexpensive, but certainly a lot of ‘bang for the buck’. I am glad to have been able to check out an extra fine nib on this pen – since Japanese fountain pen nibs are already on the finer side, this EF here really means business. This is why I also dedicated some extra attention to the very exquisite fine line of this pen at the very end of the review, in the writing sample.

I would like to take the chance to thank Tinte-im-Blut.de, the German distributor of Sailor, for supporting me in making this review possible.

Check out the video-review below, which is, as always, preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!

Remark:
When talking about the feeling of writing with the pen, I often tend to say that this is a very “tactical” writing experience. God knows why. What I was meant to say, of course, was a “tactile” writing experience. Sorry for that.
