Video-Review: Osprey Scholar

It has been almost one year ago that I have reviewed the Osprey Milano – a pen made by the US-based pen manufacturer Osprey Pens.

Osprey pens does aim at pushing the skill of handwriting, priding itself of having “given over 100 schools in the USA ink, nibs, and fountain pens” as part of their CSR-outreach school initiative.

With this background, what could be more appropriate than offering a pen that is affordable (pupils) – and naming it “Scholar”.  And, being an academic myself, what could be more appropriate than me reviewing this pen. So here we go.

Before we hop into the review, I would like to take the chance to thank Abhi of Osprey Pens, who offered to send me the pen for review.

The video is, as always, preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!

just found that blog recently. really like it! and that’s a nice review! the pen looks a bit like an old one that i destroyed when i tried to fix it. maybe that‘s the reason i wanna get one. and because of the very interesting nib options (g-nib and the upcoming hourglass one) probably as well. but what‘s the best way of getting them in europe (austria)? i can‘t find one at the dutch store that is listed on the osprey website. maybe you know?thanks a lot and all the best to sweden!ps: do i have the wrong impression or could i write in german too 🙂

Thanks for your feedback! I am not sure of all the re-sellers that carry Osprey pens. But you may write an email to them directly and ask. I do also speak German, yes.
