Video-Review: Namisu Nova Brass

Namisu is an interesting UK-based company that has successfully come up with a range of writing instruments – especially fountain pens – that excel first and foremost through their built quality as well as a unique, clipless, minimalist design.

The Nova-model has sort of advanced to become the most recognizable Namisu-pen; and it has meanwhile been released in quite a variety of finishes such as titanium or ebonite.

The model that I am looking at in this review is the brass Nova. What distinguishes this model from the ones mentioned above, of course, is the body material. The unique asset of brass is that it beautifully ages over time, developing a patina that many aficionados like a lot. It is for this reason, that pens such as the Travelers Fountain Pen or the Y-Studio pen are equally liked: the signs of time and wear truly bestow a sense of appropriation of an analogue writing instrument in increasingly digital times.

But enough of the prelude for now. Check out the rest of the pen in the video-review below – as always preceded by some quick facts. Again, I hope the review is helpful and that you enjoy watching it!
